Kathryn & Gaston’s wedding day was memorable to say the least.
Just a couple of weeks after the winter storm ravished the city of Houston, we were lucky enough to have warmer temperatures back and experience a beautiful day. As evident as it seems, both Kathryn and Gaston were filled with joy throughout the day as they anticipated seeing each other for the first time as the ceremony approached.
There is nothing better for us, as photographers, to document a couple wildly in love. Each frame brimmed with their sense of eagerness, joy, and peace as they stepped into their new season.
Emotions filled the room as Kathryn walked down the aisle and locked eyes with Gaston for the very first time. As soon as the doors opened and he saw her, tears filled his eyes. The entire room was mesmerized and so were we!
These are the moments that we enjoy not only documenting, but also experiencing. No words can describe how special it is for us to be able to play a small role, as you and your loved one enter into a new season filled with expectancy.
Last but not least, it was time to party. The reception took place in Station 3 which used to be a fire station in the Houston area. At one point in the reception, Gaston, his groomsmen, and some of his friends came down from what used to be the fire pole from the station. As you may already assume, it took all the guests by surprise! It was definitely considered a highlight of the night.
Throughout every ceremony, vow reading, first look, and all the things that happen in a wedding day.. we are constantly reminded why we love to do what we do. We do not take it for granted. Here are some of our favorite images from this beautiful wedding! Let us know what you think in the comments!
